Local and national media have reported the FBI is shutting down a temporary DNS server today that was used to protect Internet-users whose computers are infected with a piece of malware known as DNS Changer.
None of VTel's Internet traffic has been affected by this malware and as such VTel does not anticipate any problems when the FBI shuts down its temporary DNS server. As usual, if you do experience problems connecting to the Internet, please contact Internet Support at (802) 885-9002.
For more information, and to see if you computer is affected by this malware, please visit the FBI's DNS Changer Check-up at http://www.dns-ok.us/.
